This year’s UXPA even on World Usability Day is themed ‘Healthcare: Collaborating for better systems’. The even will offer a broad platform from which to explore how user centered design principles is applied in the Healthcare Industry. I will be presenting my work on behalf of the esti2 project, reporting our work on the challenges of evidence-based design of a mobile health application to support the diagnosis, management and treatment of Sexually Transmitted Infections. There will be also talks on emotional UX, health data capture challenges, how to design to avoid errors and research on the use of technology for medication adherence from speaker from both industry and academia.
